The Inclusion in Finance Foundation (IFF) is a grant making organisation funding projects to make ours a more inclusive society.
We fund a wide range of organisations, initiatives and projects which aim to improve inclusion within the finance industry.
Amanda Pullinger is the CEO of Debbie’s Dream Foundation: Curing Stomach Cancer, the leading global connector in the stomach cancer community, driving collaboration among patients, caregivers, clinicians, researchers and other partners to accelerate progress, improve outcomes and save lives through Patient Support, Research Advancement, Awareness and Education.
Amanda is also the Co-Founder of Global Female Investors Network, which serves over 2,500 female risk takers and investors across asset classes, enabling global connectivity to peers, and access to career and business opportunities.
Until late 2023, Amanda was the Chief Executive Officer of 100 Women in Finance. Over twenty years, she was responsible for taking the organization from one hundred women in the hedge fund industry to a globally respected professional association of over 35,000 registered members, operating in over 30 locations, in 19 countries across five continents.
She also serves on a number of Boards and Advisory Boards.
Amanda Pullinger graduated from Brasenose College, Oxford University in 1987 with an Honours Degree in Modern History. She earned an MBA from La Salle University, Philadelphia, in 1998, and received the Academic Award for MBA student of the year as well as the Beta Gamma Sigma designation.
Laura O’Shea is Associate Director of Stewardship at M&G Investments, the asset management business of M&G plc, a UK-listed international savings and investment company headquartered in London. M&G manages investments across both public and private markets on behalf of institutional and retail clients. Laura leads M&G’s corporate engagements on environmental, social and governance issues to preserve and enhance corporate value for clients’ assets.
Laura has 18 years’ investment experience across asset management and wealth management, including stewardship and sustainability and multi asset investments.
Laura is a CFA charter holder and holds the CFA Certificate in ESG Investing. Laura also holds an MSc in Economics from the University of Warwick and a BSc (First Class Honours) in Business Economics and Finance from Loughborough University.
Lucy Ring is a Senior Business Data Analyst at M&G plc, where she leads the design of target operating models and data strategy initiatives within the asset management business. With almost 20 years’ experience across financial services organisations, including M&G, Janus Henderson, Franklin Templeton, and Microsoft, she has built a career helping businesses deliver transformation, drive organisational change and growth.
Alongside her professional role, Lucy is a passionate advocate for diversity, equity and inclusion within the investment industry. She previously served as Chair of Janus Henderson’s Global Gender Diversity Employee Resource Group and was a member of the firm’s D&I Steering Group, leading initiatives that strengthened the representation and experience of women across the organisation. She has also worked with investment firms to develop and implement DE&I strategies focused on gender and ethnicity representation, inclusive culture, and talent development.
As a Trustee of the Inclusion in Finance Foundation, Lucy brings her expertise in strategy, governance, stakeholder engagement and organisational change to support the Charity’s mission of creating a more inclusive investment and savings industry.
